X136 Harley Davidson 1984-1993 IGNITION KEY BLANKReplacement for key blanks with the a part number of X136.Fits Ignition of SOME Harley Davidsons (NOT Sportster) from 1984-1993 (1 of 6 possible!). There is actually some conflicting information out there, but the gist of it is this: Harley Davidson had always used Briggs and Stratton groove #2 keys ever since since the 1920's. Starting some time around 1969 when the AMF period arrived, Harley started using 12 different similar-looking keys (!). After this experiment failed, around 1985 they then switched over to using 6 keys plus the Ilco X226 for the Sportster. Obviously, if your bike has a later tubular style key from around 1994 onward, this blank is not for you. The fitment and compatibilities loaded are the closest approximations I can get given the conflicting information out there, so use pic #3 as a starting point for your own research. The safest way is to match up part numbers. If no numbers match up, then you can take a picture of your current working key front and back and message it to me and I will help you figure it out!If you have an early pre-1969 big twin Harley, I stock the original Briggs and Stratton OEM key blanks. I also have an interesting selection of key blanks for Italian Aermacchi-based harleys from the 1960's and 1970's like the Sprint. See my ebay store! If in doubt, don't hesitate to send me a pic of your current working key, I would be glad to assist you. Thanks for looking and HAPPY MOTORING!
