Fork Gaitors (1 Pair.) for Triumphs OEM A9638018 but adaptable to Many other models! (remove stock dust covers). Gives your bike that "British" look. Provides great fork protection!!! some models had a lip piece on the lower triple tree on which to clamp the boot, for later models simply insert a piece of split rubber radiator hose or nice black silicone hose inside, and clamp or zip tie the upper part of the boot to the fork tube. an old carb manifold clamp works great too! Brand new front fork boots YOU GET TWO BOOTS per order, - (qty 1 in the Buy It Now window) one set of fork gators/one pair. no forks tubes or fork legs included. ssmith377 at socal dot rr dot co these are brand new! I have over 20 other fork boot styles available, to fit nearly all bikes!!! http://stores.ebay.com/CycleSmith-parts-accessories?_dmd=1&_nkw=fork+boots that is my link to over 20 different fork boot styles all available now! HERE'S WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW!!!!!!!!! 1. you need to know what your fork diameter is. (unless you bike has an upper attachment for the fork boot, like on an older CB500/550/750 2. You need to know what the fork leg diameter is. -If your bike does not have pleated fork boots on it now, then you will be removing your existing fork "dust" boot, and measuring the diameter of the upper part of the fork leg, where the dust boot was previously situated. 3. you need to know approximately how long you would like the boots to be. you don't want to put a fork boot with 2" of travel on a bike that has 12 inches of exposed fork tube.... for example Royal Enfield/ Triumph for boot SPECS: 7 long - not compressed a bit over 3" fully compressed approx. 1 3/4" 40-41mm ID top hole, (can stretch) approx. 60-62mm ID bottom hole, (can stretch) 40mm upper ID, 60mm lower ID, 75mm compressed height, 200 max height, 150mm static height Includes two fork boots and installation hardware Both ends can stretch a bit to accomodate slightly larger sizes and you can use black silcone or rubber radiator hose to shim the inside diameter for smaller jobs. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- actual ebay feedback:EXTREMELY fast shipping across the country!.
