INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: Wash the cover and engine flange with solvent. Remove all traces of oil. The surfaces must be DRY (No oil or lube of any type). Use lock washers or thread lock. TORQUE (one time): 15 INCH POUNDS DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN! Over tightening causes the gasket to squeeze or bulge out. Silicone gaskets should not bulge or "pooch out". If this happens, then back off on the torque. It is okay to use Loctite on the bolts. TO RE-USE GASKET: Wash gasket briefly in hot soapy water.
