A simple light weight aluminum design, quality materials and workmanship - CNC machined. Kit includes (1) AIR FILTER CAGE SUPPORT and (2) CABLE TIES (3M brand - 8.0 inch long - 50 lb. tensile) as pictured. The AIR FILTER CAGE SUPPORT attaches to the top surface of your original plastic air filter cage using two CABLE TIES. This assembly will collectively contain a cracked or fatigued air filter cage, and eliminate further cracking by distributing the compression load that is applied by the air filter holding wire, to the outer edges of the air filter cage and frame, therefore creating a larger contact surface area, that provides added rigidity, and an improved air filter seal.
