They are 4-5x brighter than a standard incandescent bulb which gives you greater visibility. These bulbs are non-polarity so there is no need to modify or rewire your bike to get these LEDs to work. Upgrading is as simple as changing a light bulb. They use less watts, are much brighter, last about 50,000 hours, and do not get hot. They will not melt your lens if kept on too long.
